Why brands hire a videographer over a crew
Most Dallas video jobs don't need a twelve-person crew. They need one experienced person who understands the brief, lights a room quickly, gets a nervous executive comfortable on camera and hands back a finished piece that looks like it cost far more than it did. That's the job I've done for fifteen years — as videographer on small shoots, as director of photography on large ones, and as director when the story needs shaping first.
Every project gets the same kit and the same eye: RED cinema cameras, cinema lenses, proper lighting and sound, and an edit finished in DaVinci Resolve.
What that means for you: fewer people in your office, one point of contact, a shoot day that runs on time, and footage that cuts together because the person shooting it already knows how it will be edited. When a project genuinely needs more — a full crew, talent, art department — I scale up and direct it.

Do you work alone or with a crew?
Both. Interviews, events and most brand content I shoot solo or with one assistant. Commercials get a full crew that I direct.
What areas do you cover?
Dallas, Fort Worth, Plano, Frisco and the rest of DFW with no travel fee. I travel nationwide for multi-day shoots.
What camera do you shoot on?

How fast can you deliver?
Event recaps and social cuts in under a week; interview-based corporate videos and brand films typically within two weeks of the shoot.
Can you handle the concept and script?
Yes. As a commercial director I develop concepts, scripts and storyboards before we roll.
What's the difference between a videographer and a cinematographer?
A videographer typically owns the whole job — planning, shooting and editing — on smaller productions. A cinematographer (DP) owns the image on larger ones and works under a director. I do both, so you hire the role the project actually needs.
Do you do weddings?
No. I focus on commercial, corporate, event and film work.
How a shoot works
1. Call. Fifteen minutes on what the video needs to do and who it's for.
2. Plan. Shot list, locations, talent and schedule — sent to you before the shoot day.
3. Shoot. I arrive with the full camera, lighting and audio package. Most corporate and brand shoots are one day.
4. Deliver. First cut within two weeks for standard projects, then two rounds of revisions and delivery in every format you need.
